Richmond Villages Painswick is seeking a dedicated Host to support residents at mealtimes, deliver refreshments and provide room service in a care-home setting. The role is permanent with flexible full-time or part-time hours at £12.90 per hour, paid breaks.

You will work as part of a friendly team, upholding a clean, safe and welcoming environment, contributing to residents' comfort and daily routines. Training is provided to ensure high standards of hospitality and resident wellbeing.

Competenze

• Background in customer service is helpful; catering or kitchen experience is not essential as training is provided.
• Strong communication and a caring approach to residents are important.

Our waiting on staff play an important role as your presence during mealtimes is crucial. It ensures residents receive dignified, personalized attention, promotes social interaction, and contributes to overall well-being.

You’ll Help Us Make Health Happen By

• Serving in our care home at mealtimes and delivering refreshments
• Preparing trays and providing room service to village residents who wish to stay in their rooms for meals
• Collecting trays from resident’s rooms and restocking resident’s personal kitchens

Key Skills / Qualifications Needed For This Role

You are a person who cares deeply for others and is driven to make a significant impact on people's lives. With your background in customer service, and potentially some experience in catering or kitchen roles—though not essential as training is provided—you excel in communication. You thrive in a tight-knit team setting, engaging with individuals from diverse backgrounds. Committed to providing outstanding service to our residents, you apply your expertise in upholding a clean, orderly, safe, and sanitary environment.
