Din Tai Fung UK is seeking a friendly Host/Receptionist to be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a warm welcome and excellent service. You will manage bookings, seating, and guest inquiries, while maintaining a clean and organized dining area.

We offer competitive pay (£18–£20 per hour including tronc), full-time hours (40–48 per week) and a rota-based schedule across central London locations such as Covent Garden, Selfridges, Centre Point and Canary Wharf.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Host/Receptionist or front-of-house role in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality environment.

• Help buss the tables and maintain an organised venue, ensuring it’s set up for smooth service with light lifting and rearranging as needed.

Who You Are

We’re looking for a Host/Receptionist who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service. Ideally, you will have:

• Experience in a Host/Receptionist or front-of-house role in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality environment, [although we are happy to train enthusiastic newcomers!]
• A friendly and outgoing personality with excellent communication skills and a passion for providing outstanding guest experiences
• The ability to stay calm, composed, and adaptable under pressure, while maintaining efficient service and ensuring smooth operations in a busy and high-energy setting
• A keen interest in building a career in hospitality, with a strong passion for learning and developing your skills
• Flexible availability to work full-time, including weekends, evenings, and holidays, with shifts that may run as late as 11:30 PM
