Job summary

Care Concern Group’s Deeside Care Home is seeking a Host to create a warm, welcoming dining experience and oversee the presentation of dining areas for residents and visitors.

You will work closely with kitchen and care teams to maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety and service, contributing to comfort, routine and wellbeing during mealtimes.

Qualifications

• Friendly, approachable and professional manner.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Previous customer service experience is beneficial but not essential.

Job description

Our impressive 68-bedded care facility provides residents with exceptional standards of Nursing, Residential, Dementia and Respite care, in a luxury setting.

Host Contract

• £12.71 per hour
• Contracted to 38 hours per week
• Paid PVG, pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based a full time contract)

Role Overview

As Host, you will play a key role in creating a warm, welcoming and well organised dining experience. This is a front facing role where your attention to detail and friendly approach will help ensure every mealtime feels enjoyable, relaxed and well managed.

You will oversee the day to day presentation and smooth running of dining areas, supporting residents and visitors while maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety and service. From preparing the dining environment to serving refreshments and supporting mealtimes, your role will contribute directly to comfort, routine and overall wellbeing.

Working closely with the kitchen and care teams, you will help create a positive and inclusive environment where individuals feel valued and supported.
