The Opportunity Provider Ltd (TOP) in the United Kingdom is seeking a Hospitality Trainer to inspire and develop apprentices in hospitality. The role blends home-based work with workplace visits, offering a flexible schedule and travel across the Kent/Essex area.

You will guide learners, tailor learning plans, and demonstrate core hospitality skills while collaborating with employers to monitor progress and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience at Hospitality Management level.
• Full driving licence and access to a vehicle for travel within your area.
• Level 2 GCSE English and Maths or willingness to achieve this.
• Willingness to travel within the Kent/Essex area (3 days a week).

Responsibilities

• Guide apprentices at all levels, helping them build skills and confidence in hospitality.
• Support apprentices at our Hospitality Academy with hands-on training in techniques and customer service.
• Personalise learning plans to suit each apprentice’s needs and goals.
• Demonstrate essential skills like communication, teamwork and problem‑solving in real settings.
• Build relationships with employers and update them on apprentice progress.
• Manage admin tasks and plan using Google Suite and other systems.

Are you an experienced hospitality professional ready for something new? Join The Opportunity Provider, an award-winning training provider, as a Hospitality Trainer. Enjoy the rewarding experience of sharing your skills with apprentices and shaping the future of the hospitality industry. You’ll work Monday to Friday, with a mix of home flexibility and workplace visits, offering a better work-life balance.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Guiding apprentices at all levels, helping them develop their skills and confidence in the hospitality sector.
• Supporting apprentices at our award-winning Hospitality Academy, providing hands‑on training in essential techniques and customer service.
• Personalising learning plans to suit each apprentice’s needs, ensuring they have the tools to thrive.
• Demonstrating how essential skills like communication, teamwork, and problem‑solving fit into the hospitality world.
• Building relationships with employers and keeping them updated on their apprentices’ progress.
• Managing administrative tasks and planning effectively using Google Suite and other systems.

A typical week will include at least 3 days of travel within your area to visit apprentices, with the rest of your time spent working from home.

What You'll Need to Bring:

Experience at Hospitality Management level.

• Experience managing one or more of the following: F&B, Housekeeping, Front Office, Reception & Reservations, Conference & Events, Outlet, Kitchen.
• Ideally, a professional qualification in hospitality or a related field.
• Confidence with technology and strong organisational skills.
• Level 2 (GCSE) qualification in English and maths (or a willingness to achieve this).
• A full driving licence and access to your own vehicle for travel within your team area.
