Job summary

The Opportunity Provider Ltd is seeking a Hospitality Trainer to share expertise with apprentices and shape the future of hospitality. The role is hybrid, covering Crawley and surrounding areas, with a typical week including travel to visit apprentices and time working from home.

You will guide learners, tailor learning plans, and support hands-on training at our Hospitality Academy, focusing on essential skills and customer service.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience at Hospitality Management level.
• Experience managing F&B, Housekeeping, Front Office, Reception & Reservations, Conference & Events, Outlet or Kitchen.
• Level 2 (GCSE) in English and maths (or willingness to achieve).
• Full driving licence and access to own vehicle for travel within the area.

Responsibilities

• Guide apprentices at all levels and help them develop skills and confidence in hospitality.
• Support apprentices at the Hospitality Academy with hands-on training in essential techniques and customer service.
• Personalise learning plans to suit each apprentice’s needs and ensure tools to thrive.
• Demonstrate essential skills like communication, teamwork and problem-solving in hospitality context.
• Build relationships with employers and update them on apprentice progress.
• Manage administrative tasks and plan using Google Suite and other systems.

Are you an experienced hospitality professional ready for something new? Join The Opportunity Provider, an award-winning training provider, as a Hospitality Trainer. Enjoy the rewarding experience of sharing your skills with apprentices and shaping the future of the hospitality industry. You’ll work Monday to Friday, with a mix of home flexibility and workplace visits, offering a better work-life balance.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Guiding apprentices at all levels, helping them develop their skills and confidence in the hospitality sector.

• Supporting apprentices at our award-winning Hospitality Academy, providing hands-on training in essential techniques and customer service.

• Personalising learning plans to suit each apprentice’s needs, ensuring they have the tools to thrive.

• Demonstrating how essential skills like communication, teamwork, and problem-solving fit into the hospitality world.

• Building relationships with employers and keeping them updated on their apprentices’ progress.

• Managing administrative tasks and planning effectively using Google Suite and other systems.

A typical week will include at least 3 days of travel within your area to visit apprentices, with the rest of your time spent working from home.

What You'll Need to Bring:

• Demonstrable experience at Hospitality Management level.

• Experience managing one or more of the following: F&B, Housekeeping, Front Office, Reception & Reservations, Conference & Events, Outlet, Kitchen.

• A professional level 4 qualification in hospitality or a related field.

• Confidence with technology and strong organisational skills.

• Level 2 (GCSE) qualification in English and maths (or a willingness to achieve this).

• A full driving licence and access to your own vehicle for travel within your team area.
