Job summary

Cubitt House is seeking a Runner to join one of its luxury London pubs. You will be the vital link between kitchen and front-of-house, delivering dishes quickly and safely to guests while upholding Cubitt House’s high standards.

You’ll support both serving and kitchen teams, helping create a smooth dining experience. Previous hospitality is helpful, but enthusiasm and reliability are key to success in this fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous hospitality or fast-paced environment experience preferred but not essential.
• Energetic, reliable, and able to work efficiently under pressure.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Friendly, approachable, guest-focused attitude.
• Ability to move quickly and safely around a busy restaurant.
• Full eligibility to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food and drinks promptly and accurately from kitchen to dining area.
• Assist the serving team to ensure guests receive attentive and efficient service.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of service areas.
• Support kitchen and front-of-house teams during service as required.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards.
• Contribute to a positive, team-oriented atmosphere in the pub.
