Job summary

The Rose Gaming Resort in Dumfries, VA is seeking a Host to provide warm, guest‑focused service in a vibrant gaming and entertainment destination. You will manage reservations, guide guests to tables, present menus and wine lists, take orders, and help ensure a clean, welcoming front‑of‑house atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Six months fast food service or restaurant service experience or equivalent.
• Ability to lift, push and pull up to 25-50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Take reservations and arrange seating to fit daily needs.
• Greet guests and seat them at dining tables.
• Present menus and wine lists and explain specials.
• Take and enter orders, and process payments.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of front-of-house areas.
• Engage guests to ensure satisfaction and respond to feedback.
• Answer the restaurant phone line during operating hours.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
