Job summary

Kennedy Pearce Consulting is recruiting a Financial Controller for a rapidly expanding hospitality business in Central London. This perm position offers a temp-to-perm pathway, a hybrid working pattern, and competitive compensation depending on experience.

The role requires seasoned Financial Controller experience within hospitality and a strong background in financial reporting, controls, and commercial finance. Immediate availability is preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous Financial Controller experience within the hospitality sector is essential (restaurants, hotels, leisure, bars, catering, or similar).
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and financial reporting experience.
• Commercially minded with excellent stakeholder management skills.
• Confident working in a fast-paced, evolving business.

Responsibilities

• Lead the month-end and year-end close process, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Produce management accounts, budgets, forecasts, and cash flow reporting.
• Partner with senior leadership to provide commercial financial insight and support strategic decision-making.
• Oversee financial controls, compliance, and process improvements.
• Manage and develop the finance team.
• Support business growth initiatives, system enhancements, and ad hoc projects.
