Job summary

Oakland Care in Chigwell is seeking a Hospitality Assistant to support the care team with meals, dining spaces, and resident comfort. You’ll assist with meal service, keep areas tidy, manage stock and temperature checks, and help residents with day-to-day non-care needs in a warm, premium environment.

This full-time role is 40 hours per week, with 10-hour day shifts. Pay is £13.20 per hour, and benefits include a free meal per shift, uniform, enhanced holiday pay and extra annual leave after

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role within a luxurious UK setting.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with meal service in resident rooms or dining rooms.
• Ensure water/drink jugs are regularly refilled in resident rooms.
• Help set up and clear down tables before and after lunch service.
• Record and monitor temperatures of fridges and dining room service stations to meet compliance standards.
• Maintain the Bistro to keep it clean, organized and stocked.
• Attend to residents’ non-care needs including opening/closing curtains, changing TV channels.

an exceptional hospitality service, supporting the Head Chef, Reception Teams,
Housekeeping and Lifestyles Team.

hospitality experience and a genuine interest in care, this could be the

As a Hospitality Assistant, your key responsibilities
will include:

• Assisting
  with meal service either in resident rooms or dining rooms.
• To
  ensure that water/drink jugs are regularly refilled in resident rooms.
• Help
