Job summary

Lexington-Catering is seeking a Hospitality Assistant to join our contract catering team in the UK. You will have responsibility and opportunities to grow, becoming a key member of the service team focused on delivering high standards and guest satisfaction.

You will support front-line service, maintain cleanliness, understand menus, and adhere to food safety regulations. The role offers a structured schedule Monday to Friday, with a 40-hour work week.

What you’ll be doing…

As a Hospitality Assistant you will have plenty of responsibility and opportunity to grow in your role, becoming a critical member of our team.

• Ensure the food is to the highest standard
• Ensure the kitchen area is always clean, well presented and well-stocked
• Ensure thorough and up to date knowledge and understanding of menu and special offers in order to provide relevant information to customers and clients
• Be responsible for smooth operation of relevant equipment reporting any maintenance issues in line with procedures
• Operate the till point as required, ensuring correct procedures are used
• Ensure that COSHH, Food Safety and Health & Safety regulations are adhered to and any incidents are reported in line with procedures

Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
