Job summary

The ExtraCare Charitable Trust is recruiting for a Hospitality Assistant on a Permanent – Part-Time contract to join the team at New Oscott Retirement Village in Birmingham.

You will handle orders, serve residents and guests, and support in both the Bistro and Bar, with 6 hours in the Bistro and 4 hours in the Bar.

The role requires excellent customer service, a team player attitude, flexibility to cover shifts, and the ability to evidence right to work in the UK.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Team player with flexible approach to work in hospitality.
• Previous hospitality experience in front of house and willingness to assist in kitchen when needed.

Responsibilities

• Processing orders, providing excellent customer service to residents and guests.
• Serving guests, coffees, teas, drinks, snacks and meals.
• Covering shifts for sickness, absence and busy periods.
• Clearing tables and ensuring hospitality areas are always presentable.

Role Details

• Hours: 10 hours per week (6 hours Bistro & 4 hours Bar)
