The ExtraCare Charitable Trust in Birmingham is recruiting a Hospitality Assistant on a part-time 10 hours per week contract to join our friendly team at New Oscott Retirement Village.

In this front-of-house role you will take and serve orders, provide excellent customer service to residents and guests, and cover shifts as needed. The position offers a supportive environment within a caring community.

• Serving guests, coffees, teas, drinks, snacks and meals
• Covering shifts for sickness, absence and busy periods
• Clearing tables and ensuring the hospitality areas are always presentable

Role Details

• Position: Hospitality Assistant
• Contract: Permanent – Part-Time
• Rate: £13.45per hour
• Hours: 10 hours per week (6 hours Bistro & 4 hours Bar)
• Location: New Oscott Retirement Village

ExtraCaredoes notparticipate in the current “UK Visa Sponsorship” scheme. You must be able to evidence your Right to Work in the UK.

What will you do as our Hospitality Assistant?

• Processing orders, providing excellent customer service to our residents and guests
• Serving guests, coffees, teas, drinks, snacks and meals
• Covering shifts for sickness, absence and busy periods
• Clearingtables and ensuring the hospitality areas are always presentable

Our ideal Hospitality/Catering Assistant will have:

• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Team player
• Previous Hospitalityexperience in front of house
• Flexible to support in the kitchen when required
