Job summary

NHS Lothian is recruiting Health Care Support Workers for the Hospital to Home team at East Lothian Community Hospital. This permanent, part-time post is 20 hours per week, with shifts 07:00–11:00 and 18:00–22:00, across Mon-Sun.

You will assist with activities of daily living, medication, meal preparation, and palliative care within a community-based nursing setting. Driving licence is essential; a fleet of cars is provided.

Qualifications

• Full driving licence is required.
• Ability to assess, plan and deliver nursing care.
• Experience or interest in elderly care in a community setting.
