Spire Cambridge Lea Hospital's pharmacy department is recruiting a pharmacy technician, and a trainee registered technician will also be considered. The post supports the department and other hospital areas that hold medicines, covering medicine handling, stock and computer records, patient communication and service development.

Hours are 28 a week, worked across four days on a Monday to Saturday rota that includes alternate Saturdays.

Competenze

• Experience in a pharmaceutical department or hospital setting.
• Data checking and charging administrative duties.
• CPD in pharmaceutical activities.

Mansioni

• Provide a technical pharmacy service to the department and stock areas.
• Assist in safe and cost-efficient use of medicines.
• Assist in delivering pharmaceutical care to patients.
• Move and manage medicines and data, including computer records.
• Develop own knowledge and contribute to developing others.
• Participate in developing and implementing services.
• Maintain health, safety and security, including HCAI control.
• Support quality improvement and equality and rights.
