Ramsay Health Care UK is seeking a GPhC-registered Pharmacy Technician to join the Fulwood Hall Hospital pharmacy team in Preston. The role covers medicines supply, optimisation, and governance activities across inpatient care.

You will work with the Pharmacy Manager and clinical teams to ensure safe, patient-centered pharmacy services and contribute to service development within a hospital setting.

Competenze

• A GPhC-registered Pharmacy Technician with an NVQ Level 3, BTEC in Pharmaceutical Science or equivalent recognised qualification.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with good organisational abilities.
• Commitment to patient safety and high-quality pharmaceutical care.

Mansioni

• Managing the ordering, receipt, storage and supply of medicines.
• Supporting medicines stock management across clinical departments.
• Supporting medicines reconciliation and inpatient medicines optimisation.
• Assisting with the review of inpatient prescription charts under the direction of the Pharmacist.
• Supporting pre-operative pharmacy referrals and medicines-related queries.
• Supporting safe and timely discharge, including patient medicines counselling where appropriate.
• Providing medicines information and advice within your professional scope of practice.
• Participating in medicines management audits and governance activities.
• Supporting the investigation and learning from medication-related incidents.
• Contributing to pharmacy service development and quality improvement projects.
• Working flexibly with neighbouring Northwest Ramsay sites
