Job summary
Government of Jersey is seeking a pharmacy specialist pharmacy technician to improve patient outcomes through safe medicines use in a hospital setting. You will work with clinical pharmacists and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality medicines optimisation across Health Care Jersey.
You will support patients throughout their hospital journey by reconciling medicines on admission and discharge, assessing patients' own medicines, dispensing, accuracy checking, and providing medicines
Qualifications
- Undertake medicines reconciliation on admission and discharge.
- Assess patients' own medicines and provide counselling.
- Support medicines optimisation and accuracy checking.
Responsibilities
- Dispense and accurately check medications.
- Counsel patients on medicines use and side effects.
- Collaborate with pharmacists and ward teams to ensure safe care.
