Aneurin Bevan University Health Board is seeking a Band 3 Pharmacy Assistant for the Royal Gwent Hospital Pharmacy team. The role involves dispensing and distributing medicines, restocking the robotic storage system, and supporting the medicines management service for inpatients.

Qualifications

• Working experience in Pharmacy
• Recent experience in job providing a service/supply function
• Welsh language ability desirable
• Computer literacy, accuracy and attention to detail essential

Responsabilités

• Dispense and distribute pharmaceuticals to patients, wards and departments served by ABUHB.
• Assist in near-patient medicines management for inpatients.
• Distribute stock, receive new stock, prepare pharmaceuticals and provide basic non-pharmaceutical information to clients.
• Use pharmacy and other computer systems to carry out tasks accurately and efficiently.

Secondary education

NVQ level 3 or equivalent
