Job summary

SpaMedica Carlisle is seeking an experienced Hospital Manager to lead day-to-day operations at our Carlisle site, ensuring patient safety, care quality and satisfaction. The role requires a CQC registered manager status and leadership of healthcare teams within a multi-site charity healthcare provider.

The successful candidate will work under the Board and Area Manager, upholding SpaMedica values of safety, integrity, kindness and transparency, across 37.5 hours per week in a full-time capacity.

Qualifications

• Must obtain and maintain the CQC registered manager status.
• Experience in managing healthcare businesses or healthcare staff.
• Role suited to a nurse, senior healthcare assistant or allied health professional with leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the day-to-day management of SpaMedica and Freedom Vision at each site.
• Lead your team and make decisions that reflect SpaMedica's values of safety, integrity, kindness and transparency.
• Maintain high quality and standards of healthcare delivery at your site and collaborate with the Area Manager and Board.

Role: Hospital Manager

Location: SpaMedica Carlisle, Minerva House, Port Road, Carlisle, CA2 7AF

Hours: Full-time position, 37.5 hours per week across 5 days.

Salary: £46,355 - £49,028 (depending on experience)

Responsibilities of the Hospital Manager:
To be responsible for the day to day management of SpaMedica and Freedom Vision at each site. This role may suit a nurse, senior healthcare assistant, allied healthcare professional or a person with prior experience of managing healthcare businesses. The post holder must obtain and maintain the CQC registered manager status.

As Hospital Manager you will responsible for and maintain the high quality and standards of the delivery of healthcare services at your site. Whilst maintaining overall responsibility at the site, you are supported by your local Area Manager and by the Board, specifically the Chief Operational Officer. You will be empowered to lead your team and make decisions that mirror that values of SpaMedica in delivering the highest quality of eye healthcare.
