Job summary

SpaMedica Ltd is recruiting a Hospital Manager for our Birmingham site. The role covers overall day-to-day management, ensuring safe, high-quality eye care and patient safety across the hospital network.

You will lead the site team, align with the Board and Area Manager, and uphold SpaMedica values of safety, integrity and transparency. The post offers a full-time, 37.5-hour week with a salary of £46,355–£49,028 depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Must obtain and maintain the CQC registered manager status.
• Experience managing healthcare services or hospitals.
• Ability to lead, develop and oversee teams to deliver high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for day-to-day management of SpaMedica and Freedom Vision at each site.
• Maintain high standards of delivery of eye care services and safety.
• Lead the site team and coordinate with the Area Manager and Board to reflect SpaMedica values.

Job description

Role: Hospital Manager

Location: Apex House, Calthorpe Road, Edgbaston, Birmingham B15 1TR

Hours: Full-time position, 37.5 hours per week across 5 days.

Salary: £46,355 - £49,028 (depending on experience)

Interview date is Tuesday 15th September face to face at our Birmingham Hospital.

Responsibilities of the Hospital Manager:

To be responsible for the day to day management of SpaMedica and Freedom Vision at each site. This role may suit a nurse, senior healthcare assistant, allied healthcare professional or a person with prior experience of managing healthcare businesses. The post holder must obtain and maintain the CQC registered manager status.

As Hospital Manager you will responsible for and maintain the high quality and standards of the delivery of healthcare services at your site. Whilst maintaining overall responsibility at the site, you are supported by your local Area Manager and by the Board, specifically the Chief Operational Officer. You will be empowered to lead your team and make decisions that mirror that values of SpaMedica in delivering the highest quality of eye healthcare.
