Job summary

NHS Scotland is recruiting for a Laundry Assistant at Western Isles Hospital, Macaulay Road, Stornoway. This permanent Band 2 post offers 36 hours per week with a salary of £26,696 to £28,988 per annum, plus a £1,461 Distant Island Allowance.

The role involves rotation across laundry areas and requires registration with the PVG scheme. The successful candidate should be able to work in a busy environment and adhere to induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work in a busy laundry environment.
• Willingness to rotate across different laundry areas.

Responsibilities

• Work in any area of the Laundry on a rotational basis.
• Shift pattern varies from 7am/8am to 4pm/5pm, Monday to Friday.
