Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking an Environmental Services Aide to clean and sanitize patient rooms, bathrooms and common areas within the hospital. You will deliver linen, remove trash, and ensure floors and equipment are kept in top condition while following established policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect patient rooms, bathrooms, furniture and other areas in a timely manner.
• Deliver linen and remove trash from assigned areas.
• Sweep and mop patient rooms.
• Maintain stock of materials, supplies and chemicals on cleaning cart.
• Perform daily floor care procedures.
• Keep equipment clean and polished; empty and rinse carts and buckets at shift end.
• Adhere to hospital policies and procedures.
• Support organizational competencies and standards of behavior.
