Overview

Compass Associates have partnered exclusively with a renowned private national complex care provider offering a range of services for the elderly, adults with learning and physical disabilities, mental health, and neurological conditions. We are seeking a Hospital Director in the Cheshire area to oversee one of the group's renowned hospitals, providing care for adults and adolescents with addiction, mental health, and eating disorders.

The hospital has a strong reputation locally and with commissioners and is fully occupied, with many beds being private referrals.

The Candidate

Experience in a similar mental health hospital role is desirable. Candidates from regulated environments with exposure to private pay patients are encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will have excellent operational and commercial skills. Candidates from addiction and general hospitals are also encouraged to apply.

Location

The hospital is near Manchester, with good motorway links, accessible from surrounding Cheshire, Staffordshire, Greater Manchester, and Merseyside areas.

Criteria

• Healthcare Registration (therapy or nursing) desirable
• Extensive management experience in health/social care
• Strong operational skills
• Good understanding of CQC standards
• Commercial awareness and budget management skills

Interview Process

Two-stage process via Teams: initial meeting and presentation with the Managing Director, followed by a second meeting with the MD and HR Director.

Salary and Benefits

Up to £90,000 per year (depending on experience) plus up to 30% KPI-related bonus and company benefits.
