Overview

Compass Associates has partnered exclusively with a renowned private national complex care provider offering services for the elderly, adults with learning and physical disabilities, as well as mental health and neurological conditions. We are seeking a Hospital Director for a hospital in the Cheshire area that provides care for adults and adolescents with addiction, mental health, and eating disorders.

The hospital has a strong reputation locally and with commissioners, operating with 56 beds, most of which are private referrals.

The Candidate

Ideal candidates will have experience in a similar mental health hospital setting, preferably within a regulated environment with exposure to private pay patients. Candidates from addiction or general hospital backgrounds are encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will have excellent operational and commercial skills.

Location

The hospital is conveniently located near Manchester with good motorway links, accessible from Cheshire, Staffordshire, Greater Manchester, and parts of Merseyside.

Criteria

• Healthcare Registration (therapy or nursing) desirable
• Extensive management experience in health/social care
• Strong operational skills
• Good understanding of CQC standards
• Commercial awareness and budget management skills

Interview Process

Two-stage process via Teams: initial meeting and presentation with the Managing Director, followed by a second meeting with the MD and HR Director.

Salary and Benefits

Up to £90,000 per annum plus up to 30% KPI-related bonus and company benefits.
