Job summary

NHS Scotland is seeking reliable cleaners for our wards and departments to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene across clinical and non-clinical areas. You will work as part of a team on site, following schedules and NHS procedures, with full training provided where needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout clinical and non-clinical areas
• Following cleaning schedules and procedures in line with NHS standards
• Using cleaning equipment and materials safely and effectively
• Supporting infection prevention and control measures
• Contributing to a positive experience for patients, visitors and colleagues
• Previous cleaning experience is desirable; however, full training will be provided.
• Uniform and PPE will be supplied where required, and all staff are expected to adhere to the NHS Dress Code.
