Job summary

The Christie in Manchester is seeking an experienced Chef to join our catering team supporting patients, staff and visitors with nutritious meals. You will work with ward teams to plan menus, prepare and serve meals, and ensure high standards of food safety and allergen management in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in large-scale catering, kitchen, or food service industry, preferably in a health care setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
• Must hold City & Guilds 7061 & 2 or L2/L3 NVQ.
• L2 Food Hygiene Certificate.
• L2 HACCP Certification.
