Swansea Bay University Health Board is seeking staff to join the catering and domestic team in inpatient and day patient services. The role focuses on preparing special dietary meals, regenerating foods, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across wards and kitchens.

The post requires the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team, with good organisational and communication skills.

Competenze

• NVQ Level 2 (Catering/Customer Services/Cleaning) or Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.
• Experience of preparing food.
• Experience of working as part of a team.
• Welsh language abilities are desirable in this role.

Mansioni

• Prepare and cook special dietary meals for patients (e.g., Neutropenic, CCU).
• Regenerate foods in line with cook-chill/cook-freeze guidelines and manage trolleys to/from the kitchen.
• General cleaning duties of ward, kitchen, and equipment including dishwashing where required.
• Carry out general domestic duties as requested by the service.
