Trinity Hospice & Brian House is seeking a Housekeeping Assistant to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across the hospice, ensuring a safe, welcoming environment for patients, families, visitors and staff.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping, cleaning or hospitality is beneficial.
• Must maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Good communication and caring approach preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and maintaining hospice areas to the highest standards.
• Following infection prevention and control procedures.
• Managing laundry and linen services, including curtain changes.
• Safely using cleaning equipment and materials.
• Supporting colleagues to deliver a high-quality service.
• Using the room booking system to plan work around meetings and events.
• Reporting maintenance issues and health and safety concerns.
• Helping to create a welcoming environment for patients, families and visitors.
• Supporting new team members as a workplace buddy.
• Working positively with colleagues across departments.
