Job summary

Birmingham Hospice is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Assistant to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients, families and staff. The role is 20 hours per week, with shift pattern Monday to Friday 2:30 pm–6:30 pm and occasional weekends.

You will keep the hospice spotless, support infection control measures, and work closely with the Facilities Team. A good standard of education and cleaning experience are desirable, along with basic health and safety knowledge and the

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience and attention to detail.
• Basic health and safety knowledge (COSHH, risk assessments, manual handling).
• Ability to maintain records and complete work schedules.
• Willingness to work occasional weekend shifts.
