Job summary

St Oswald’s Hospice in Newcastle upon Tyne is seeking a dedicated Care Support Worker to join the Children & Young Adults Service. You will work under a Registered Nurse to deliver care and provide activities meeting assessed needs, supporting families and promoting wellbeing.

The role requires a minimum of 2 years’ experience with children/young adults with complex needs, excellent communication, and flexibility for a 24/7 rota.

Qualifications

• minimum 2 years experience working with children/young adults with complex health needs in education, health or social care settings.
• effective communication skills and ability to record information accurately & concisely.
• flexibility to cover a range of shifts over a 24 hour / 7 day rota.
