Job summary

Capel Manor College is seeking an experienced Lecturer to deliver and assess Horticulture Levels 1 and 2 under the GLA Skills Bootcamps program. You will prepare engaging lessons, monitor progress, and provide constructive feedback while working with practical instructors to ensure safe, effective learner activities.

The role welcomes applicants with a Degree, HND or related qualification, with experience from industry encouraged.

Qualifications

• Degree, HND or equivalent qualification in a related discipline.
• We welcome applications from experienced Lecturers who can share passion, skills and knowledge of horticulture.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and assess to appropriate examination body standards across Levels 1 and 2 in Horticulture subjects.
• Prepare and deliver stimulating lessons, set goals, monitor and assess student progress.
• Provide feedback and demonstrate positive attitudes, values and behaviours expected of students.
• Work with practical instructors and technicians to enable practical learner activities and ensure health and safety compliance.
