Job summary

Reed seeks an experienced Horticulture Lecturer to join a Further Education College in Rotherham on a temporary short-term basis.

You will deliver Horticulture courses to FE learners, plan, prepare and assess lessons in line with curriculum requirements, and support student progress to help learners reach their full potential.

The role offers 29.5 teaching hours per week (Tue-Fri), total 36 hours, on a temporary contract until 23 October 2026, with a competitive hourly rate.

Qualifications

• Relevant FE teaching experience or ability to deliver FE courses.
• Teaching Qualification (TQ) or equivalent.
• Horticultural qualifications or extensive industry experience.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality Horticulture courses to Further Education learners.
• Plan, prepare and assess lessons in line with curriculum requirements.
