Job summary

idverde is seeking a Grounds Maintenance Operative in Burton on Trent. You will maintain multiple client sites through mowing, trimming, pruning and general horticultural duties, using ride-on and pedestrian mowers, with a commitment to safety and quality.

The role offers a permanent, full-time position with annualised hours and a starting hourly rate of £12.71. Full UK driving licence is required; PA1/PA6 licences are a plus. Join a large team delivering diverse projects across the UK.

• Previous Grounds Maintenance experience.
• Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Reliable with a can-do attitude and safety-conscious mindset.
• A full valid UK driving licence.
• PA1 and PA6 licences are an advantage but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Grass cutting using ride-on and pedestrian mowers.
• Pruning, weeding, shrub and border maintenance, litter picking.
• Carry out related horticultural duties and general grounds care.

Working Hours: Annualised Hours Mon-Fri between 07:00-16:30

About the role

We currently require a Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our team in Burton. You will keep several grounds across the region in a wonderful condition for our clients, through grass cutting; using a ride on and pedestrian mower, strimming, pruning, weeding, shrub and border maintenance, litter picking and any other related horticultural duties.
