Job summary

Qualifications
- Experience in manual machining and reading engineering drawings.
- Strong horizontal boring experience is essential.
- Ability to read tolerances and ensure quality.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in marine or heavy engineering is advantageous but not required.
Responsibilities
- Operate manual machining equipment with focus on horizontal boring.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and specs.
- Prepare components for machining and inspect finished parts.
- Record process parameters and inspection results.
- Troubleshoot machining issues and work with the team to meet deadlines.
- Adhere to health and safety and quality procedures.
