Overview
We are seeking a talented and experienced Head Chef to lead the culinary hospitality operations for high-profile events at a major UK venue. This role is central to delivering a premium dining experience for guests on event and match days, ensuring quality, consistency, and innovation across all food offerings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily kitchen operations for hospitality-led events, maintaining a consistently high standard of food and service.
  • Inspire and lead the kitchen team to ensure productivity, quality, and a culture of high performance.
  • Collaborate on creative and diverse menu development with clear specifications and allergen details.
  • Manage food ordering and stock levels efficiently, aligning with sales forecasts and using preferred suppliers to meet and exceed food gross profit targets.
  • Ensure full compliance with food safety, health & safety, HACCP, COSHH, and related legal and policy standards.
  • Provide culinary support across other departments as required.

Requirements

  • Demonstrable experience as a Head Chef in a large-scale, high-volume environment (e.g. stadiums, arenas, or major event venues).
  • Strong background in fine dining, with the ability to deliver refined, premium menus at scale.
  • Strong knowledge of Health & Safety, Food Safety, HACCP, COSHH, and Risk Assessment protocols.
  • Proven track record of maintaining high culinary standards and managing operational logistics.
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills.
  • A passion for food, sustainability, and awareness of current culinary trends.
  • Relevant hygiene certifications required.
