The Loss Foundation is a registered charity that provides bereavement support for individuals whose loved ones have died of cancer. The charity is managed by volunteer psychologists and mental health professionals, along with professionals from other fields.

It hosts online bereavement support groups and therapeutic events, and offers in-person support through informal gatherings and walks across the country.

We are expanding our team and seeking compassionate, reliable, and conscientious volunteers with excellent communication skills and an interest in supporting others.

Honorary psychologist roles involve co-facilitating bereavement support groups and events, supervised by Clinical Psychologists, with ongoing CPD and training opportunities.

Ideal candidates will have excellent organizational skills, initiative, flexibility, warmth, and enthusiasm for learning about bereavement support. Volunteers will receive supervision, professional development, and have opportunities to contribute to research. We offer extensive training and CPD for those interested in psychology careers and welcome applicants with a general interest in helping others.
