Your new company

Hays is currently recruiting experienced Homelessness Support Workers to complete night shifts, based in the Stoke-on-Trent area. Please note this is on a temporary, ad-hoc basis, and hours will vary each week.

Your new role

You will work as a Support Worker within a homelessness service. Responsibilities include monitoring the building and customers, ensuring safety and wellbeing, managing access and CCTV, flagging safeguarding issues, providing support and advice to customers, maintaining the building, and providing detailed handovers to day staff. You will also complete necessary incident paperwork.

What you'll need to succeed

Proven experience in a similar environment supporting customers with complex needs is required. An enhanced DBS check is necessary, which Hays can facilitate.
