Job summary

The Queen Elizabeth Hospital King's Lynn NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Senior Pharmacy Assistant - Homecare and Digital, Band 3. The post supports the Homecare/High-Cost Drugs team and the Pharmacy Digital service, handling administration from order creation to invoicing checks.

The role provides training in stock management and duties leading toward dispensing and distribution of medicines. It offers a fixed-term contract with potential for secondment, with a commitment to QEHKL Trust

Qualifications

• GCSEs or equivalent including English and Maths.
• NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services (or willingness to work toward).
• Experience in a team and busy healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Create purchase orders for validated homecare prescriptions on time.
• Manage prescription receipt checklists.
• Process homecare invoices promptly to secure payment.
• Maintain accurate homecare records and respond to EPMA/Digital queries.
• Support EPMA protocols and assist with reporting.
