Job summary

Anchor is seeking a Project Manager to lead planned investment and refurbishment projects across our housing portfolio. The role focuses on delivering safe, high-quality upgrades while ensuring value for money and excellent resident experience.

Based in Reading area with home-based flexibility, you will coordinate internal stakeholders, contractors and supply chain partners from inception to completion, ensuring compliance and quality throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing construction, refurbishment or planned maintenance projects.
• Strong contractor and stakeholder management experience.
• Knowledge of CDM, Building Safety Act, HHSRS and Decent Homes Standards.
• Experience with JCT and/or NEC contract frameworks.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver planned investment programmes from inception through to completion.
• Manage contractors and supply chain partners to ensure quality, compliance and performance targets.
• Develop programme briefs into deliverable work packages.
• Act as the link between project teams, contractors and stakeholders.
• Monitor budgets, forecasts and financial performance to ensure value for money.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety requirements and governance frameworks.
• Support contract management, dispute resolution and commercial decisions.
• Promote continuous improvement and stakeholder engagement.
• Champion Anchor's values in all interactions.
