Specsavers is seeking a Home Visits Optical Assistant to take eye care to patients at their homes across the region. The role involves dispensing at all levels and driving a company pool car to various locations within Herefordshire, Gloucestershire, Swindon and Wiltshire, Bath, Northeast Somerset, Bristol and parts of Wales.

You’ll be driving our services to the doorsteps of the nation, providing eye care to the people who are unable to come into our stores. Not only do you help them with their sight, you’ll also be bringing smiles and clinical care into the heart of your community.

The job is varied: you’ll work in a range of locations and testing environments every day – no two days are the same. Our region covers Herefordshire, Gloucestershire, Swindon and Wiltshire, Bath, Northeast Somerset, Bristol, and a small portion of Wales (Chepstow and Monmouth). To meet the needs of our business, our preferred candidate will be based in South Bristol/Weston-Super-Mare.

With more 1-on-1 time spent with patients in the place where they feel comfortable, you can really cater to their needs and make a real difference in their lives.

We’re looking for someone driven and approachable; a real people person. You'll need to be able to confidently dispense at all levels and hold a full UK driving licence - which are essential criteria for this role.
