We are looking for extra support in Worcester City, growing our team, to cover preparation for the Local Elections, with the goal of the Parliamentary Elections in 2029. We need a talented, driven and organised individual to help us scale up and seize this moment.
As our Campaign Organiser, you will be at the heart of an exciting time for the Green Party. From coordinating volunteers to delivering winning ground campaigns, this is your chance to help elect record numbers of new councillors and ensure our General Election ambitions are woven through everything we do. The Local Party in Worcester needs someone who can hit the ground running, turn energy into action, and help make our vision a reality.
We welcome applications from individuals with a broad range of backgrounds and experiences. Previous employment within party politics is not essential. We recognise that opportunities to gain professional political campaigning experience are limited, and we are particularly keen to hear from people from backgrounds that remain underrepresented in politics.
Plan and coordinate local election campaigns, action days, canvassing sessions and phone banks.
Recruit, coordinate and develop volunteers, building long-term capacity across the local party.
Maintain accurate campaign records, databases, calendars, webpages and volunteer systems.
Build effective relationships with the Local Party Executive, councillors, candidates and staff.
This is a permanent post at 21 hours per week, with a view to extending hours in the future, and includes work outside of typical office hours according to campaign needs. The role is home based within the UK with frequent travel required, and reports to the West Midlands Field Organiser.
