Job summary

Milton Keynes City Council is recruiting a Home Ownership Coordinator to join our Home Ownership Team. You will support leaseholders and shared owners, advising on Right to Buy, leasehold matters and statutory consultations, and manage your own enquiries and cases from customers, contractors and colleagues.

The role is site-based and based at our Milton Keynes workplace, with interviews on 27 November 2026 conducted in person.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service and dealing with leaseholders.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.

Job description

We’re recruiting a Home Ownership Coordinator to join our Home Ownership Team at Milton Keynes City Council. Our team supports leaseholders and shared owners across the city, providing advice and managing services including Right to Buy, leasehold matters and statutory consultations. At the heart of this role is helping customers navigate important housing matters, making sure they receive clear, accurate and timely information. As a key point of contact, you’ll manage your own enquiries and cases, working with customers, contractors and colleagues to keep things moving. The work is varied, from coordinating Section 20 consultations and supporting Right to Buy applications to dealing with leasehold and shared ownership enquiries. There will also be opportunities to use your problem-solving skills to help resolve more complex leasehold and service charge issues. It’s a rewarding role for someone who enjoys taking ownership, building positive relationships and making a difference through good customer service.

Site-Based role
