Job summary

St Catherine’s Hospice, Lancashire, is seeking a compassionate Home Nursing Assistant to support patients at home under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. You will provide personal care, practical support and reassurance to patients and families, helping them stay at home where appropriate.

Applicants should have care experience, excellent communication and teamwork skills, and be flexible to work across community and inpatient settings. A full driving licence and car access are essential.

Would you like to make a meaningful difference by helping people receive high-quality end-of-life care in the comfort of their own home? We are looking for a compassionate and dependable Home Nursing Assistant to join our St Catherine’s at Home team.

You will work in patients’ homes, under the direction of a Registered Nurse, providing personal care, practical support and reassurance to patients and their families. Our Care Directorate provides services 24 hours a day, seven days a week, in both community and inpatient unit settings so flexibility is essential.
