Job summary

Care UK is seeking a Home Manager for Parker Meadows Care Home in Fareham. This role leads the day-to-day operation of the home, supporting staff and ensuring high-quality care for residents.

You will manage budgets, drive standards in line with the Care Standards Act and Health & Safety requirements, and build strong relationships with relatives and external bodies while delivering a caring, safe and compliant service.

Qualifications

• 2-3+ years Home Manager experience.
• Experience in Care Home settings (Residential and Dementia).
• Ability to control and manage a budget and accounts.
• Knowledge of Care Standards Act and Health and Safety Legislation.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and effective management for all staff in the home.
• Promote a caring environment aligned with latest guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure effective financial and commercial management of the home per policy.
• Maintain high satisfaction among relatives, residents and external agencies, safeguarding the home’s reputation.

Home Manager / Registered Manager required at our Parker Meadows Care Home in Fareham!

Care Home based (37.5 hours per week)

Up to £83,000 plus bonus

The role:

To take responsibility for all aspects of the day to day running of the care home and to achieve an industry leading standard.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership and effective management for all staff employed in the home.
• Promote a caring environment that is delivered according to latest guidelines, best practice, legislative and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure the effective financial and commercial management of the home in accordance with company policy.
• Ensure that a high level of satisfaction with the service is achieved and maintained as well as maintaining excellent relationships with relatives, residents, purchasers and external agencies to build and maintain a positive reputation in the local community.

What We're Looking For:

• 2-3+ years Home Manager experience.
• Care of older people in a Residential and Dementia setting
• Ability to control and manage a budget and accounts.
• Knowledge of the Care Standards Act and Health and Safety Legislation
• Ability to raise standards through innovation and new ideas
