Job summary

This role involves full operational responsibility and the opportunity to shape and enhance care for residents with complex needs. The position offers a salary of £100,000 per annum, 28 days annual leave, and a pension scheme.

Bright Selection is delighted to support the recruitment of a General Manager to lead a large Nursing Home supporting residents with varied and complex needs through an exciting period of change for the home.

This is an opportunity to make a real difference to residents and their families, taking a leading role in shaping and improving the future of the home.

The nursing home provides care for residents with differing and often complex care requirements, including dementia, high-acuity, palliative, and complex needs.

The General Manager will take full operational responsibility, supported by a strong clinical deputy, a comprehensive non-care team, and external consultants, as the service undergoes modernisation and refurbishment.

About You
  • Experienced in leading large, multi-specialist teams within nursing or residential care
  • Strong operational and business management skills, including financial oversight and compliance
  • Confident, decisive, and able to implement change effectively
  • Skilled at inspiring, empowering, and developing teams
  • Able to deliver Outstanding care while maintaining a resident-focused and holistic approach
  • Experienced with both private self-funded residents and statutory funders
  • Collaborative, approachable, and solution-focused
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years' experience within a Registered Manager position
  • Level 5 Diploma or equivalent management qualification
  • Nursing Qualification Desirable
Remuneration
  • Salary: £100,000 PA DOE
