Job summary

B&Q Limited in Stevenston is hiring a Customer Advisor for Building & Hardware on a part-time, 11.5-hour week. The 3-month fixed-term contract covers shifts from 7am to 10pm, Monday to Sunday, with training in paint-mixing and timber cutting.

You'll help customers, handle stock, and set up displays while delivering great service. We value friendly, proactive people who enjoy home improvement, work well in a team, and are flexible for weekends and bank holidays.

Qualifications

• Friendly, eager to learn and customer-focused.
• Comfortable with using new tech and systems.
• Able to work in a team and on a rotating schedule including weekends and bank holidays.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer service and guidance.
• Manage stock levels and replenishment.
• Set up and maintain attractive in-store displays.
• Learn paint-mixing and timber-cutting processes where trained.
