Job summary

B&Q Trafford Park is seeking a Customer Advisor on a part-time fixed-term contract. The role covers shifts from 7.00am to 10.00pm Monday to Sunday, with a notional hourly rate of £13.10. You will be a key part of helping customers with home improvement projects and ensuring the store looks its best.

Training in paint-mixing and timber-cutting may be provided, and you will work as part of a friendly team with a rota that includes weekends and bank holidays.

Qualifications

• Friendly and outgoing, enjoys helping others.
• Able to work in a team and on a rota including weekends, evenings and bank holidays.
• Eager to learn and adapt to new technology and ways of working.

Responsibilities

• Sales will be important and you will help customers with products and projects.
• Assist with stock management and setting up displays.
• Keep the store looking great and learn paint-mixing or timber-cutting when trained.
