Job summary

Unifi Healthcare in the United Kingdom is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to implement a treatment program for patients evaluated by the Physical Therapist. This is an outpatient role based in Crieff, with responsibility for supervising front office staff when the Physical Therapist is not present.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team to monitor patient progress, adjust care plans, and document outcomes while maintaining safety standards and infection control.

Qualifications

• Graduate of APTA or CAPTE approved Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• State licensure
• Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care, progress functional needs and outcomes, and consults with the attending physical therapist.
• Reviews patients’ functional needs and adjusts care plans in consultation with the physical therapist.
• Conducts therapy practice within defined standards of care.
• Directs the assistance of support staff to achieve patients’ functional goals.
• Communicates effectively with other professional and support staff to achieve positive patient outcomes.
• Documents treatment progress and updates plans in consultation with the physical therapist.
