Job summary

University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Therapy Support Worker to assist in delivering rehabilitation, reablement, and discharge planning in D2A beds and home settings. You will support a multidisciplinary team and help patients regain independence across a range of conditions.

Qualifications

• Healthcare experience, particularly supporting therapists, is desirable.
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team and provide person-centred interventions.

Responsibilities

• Support Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists to deliver rehabilitation, reablement, assessment, and discharge planning.
• Provide therapy interventions to patients in D2A beds, community settings, and patients' homes.
• Assist patients to regain independence and achieve personal goals.
