Job summary

AXA Partners is seeking a Home and Motor Product Proposition Manager to shape innovative insurance products for the UK & Ireland. You will govern Home Emergency and Motor Breakdown lines, ensuring FCA compliance and alignment with strategy, while collaborating across teams to drive customer-centric product outcomes.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in product marketing, governance, or customer experience in insurance/finance.
• Experience in a heavily regulated environment with UK FS regulations.
• Ability to manage product governance and regulatory compliance.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field.

Responsibilities

• Govern new product development for Home Emergency & Motor Breakdown with FCA compliance.
• Manage product roadmap, coordinating with operations and business lines.
• Conduct market, competitor and customer research for innovation and growth.
• Review terms to ensure fairness, transparency and positive outcomes.
• Support transformation initiatives with fair outcome standards.

In this position, you will play a vital part in developing, managing, and governing our Home Emergency & Motor Breakdown lines across the UK & Ireland, ensuring they meet regulatory standards while aligning with our strategic goals. What you'll be doing:

• Lead and oversee the governance process for new product development in the Home Emergency & Motor Breakdown lines, ensuring compliance with FCA requirements and internal standards.
• Manage the product roadmap, coordinating with operations and business lines to maintain clarity on product changes and enhancements.
• Conduct market, competitor, and customer research to inform product innovation and growth strategies.
• Review and update product terms and conditions regularly to ensure fairness, transparency, and positive customer outcomes.
• Support transformation initiatives by ensuring products meet fair outcome standards and contribute to operational improvements.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and partners to develop and sign off on product documentation, distribution models, and customer journeys.
• Maintain central repositories of all product documentation and governance materials.
• Prepare and deliver product updates, market insights, and presentations to internal teams and partners to support growth and retention.

What you'll bring:

• Proven experience managing insurance products within a heavily regulated environment, with strong knowledge of UK insurance and FS regulations.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and persuasively.
• Strong analytical skills, capable of leveraging data to inform product decisions and improvements.
• Demonstrated creativity and innovative thinking to challenge the status quo and enhance customer experience.
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Word, and Adobe, with good technical and regulatory knowledge.
• Experience in developing and adapting insurance policy wordings to ensure clarity and fairness.
• Resilience and adaptability, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• A degree or equivalent qualification, with 2-5 years' experience in product marketing, governance, or customer experience within insurance or financial services.
