Job summary

Prestige Care Group in Bedale is hiring a full-time care worker to provide personal care, medication administration, and wellbeing support for residents. You will assist with meals, mobility, and daily tasks while maintaining dignity and independence.

We value compassionate, reliable team players with excellent communication skills who can cover day and night shifts across the week. DBS checks apply, and training opportunities are available.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care such as washing, dressing, oral hygiene, and mobility support.
• Administer medication and monitor health and wellbeing.
• Assist with meal preparation, serving, and supporting residents during mealtimes.
• Keep residents’ rooms tidy, change bedding, and manage laundry.
• Offer companionship and emotional support to residents.
• Help residents maintain independence, dignity, and individuality.
• Support social activities and outings, including hospital visits.
• Communicate effectively with residents’ families and other care professionals.
• Maintain accurate records and report any changes in residents’ condition.
